Bellerbys Global has launched its new University Transfer Programme (2+2), offering students a structured pathway to Year 2 at selected UK universities while expanding progression opportunities across its growing network of Study Centres.

Bellerbys Global, owned by leading international educator Study Group, has announced the launch of the Bellerbys University Transfer Programme (UTP: Business Management), a new academic pathway designed to provide students with a clear and structured route into the second year of an undergraduate degree at selected UK university partners.

A new 2+2 pathway to university progression

The programme follows a 2+2 model, where students complete the first two years of their academic journey at approved Bellerbys Global Study Centres before progressing to Year 2 at a partner university, subject to meeting published entry requirements.

The initial launch will focus on progression opportunities across a range of business-related undergraduate degrees, with additional subject pathways planned for future phases.

Progression opportunities at leading UK universities

The first phase includes progression opportunities at Cardiff University, the University of Leeds and the University of Sheffield, all part of the Russell Group and ranked amongst some of the world's leading universities.

Additional university partners will be introduced in subsequent phases as the programme continues to expand.

Study closer to home before progressing overseas

The programme will initially be delivered through the Bellerbys Singapore Study Centre and Bellerbys Shanghai Study Centre, providing students in Asia with the opportunity to begin their studies closer to home before progressing to university overseas.

“The University Transfer Programme strengthens our portfolio by introducing a clear, structured route to university progression, complementing the flexibility that Bellerbys is known for,” said Ian Crichton, CEO of Study Group. “This launch reflects our ongoing commitment to expanding high-quality pathways that give students both choice and certainty in how they progress to degree study.”

“The new programme reflects the strength of our academic framework, combining subject knowledge, academic skills and progression readiness within a clearly defined structure,” said Professor Elena Rodriguez-Falcon, Provost and Chief Innovation Officer. “As we continue to expand our global provision, maintaining academic quality and consistency across locations remains central to ensuring strong student outcomes.”

Introducing English Language Preparation (ELP)

In parallel with the UTP launch, Bellerbys Global is also introducing English Language Preparation (ELP), a face-to-face programme for students who meet academic entry requirements but require additional English support.

ELP enables students to progress into the Bellerbys Foundation Programme or UTP without delaying their academic plans.

Expanding student choice and progression opportunities

The launch forms part of Bellerbys Global's broader strategy to strengthen its pathway offer and expand progression opportunities across regions.

For over 40 years, Bellerbys has helped international students prepare for success at leading universities. Today, Bellerbys Global offers recognised progression routes to universities across the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia and China through a growing network of Study Centres across Asia and the UK.
